Richard Jack hosted an NWUE Tweek dive at the Alki Pipeline. Eleven divers showed up for the looooong swim out (ok, any swim is long when you're used to scootering, and we were without our scooters, but this really was a long swim!).
Teams were Richard, Kate and Brian, Finless Rob (Rob loaned his fins to Eric) and Margaret on scooters, Scott Christopher and Raul on scooters, and Jeanna, Eric, Joe and Chris.
Current was running a bit, and there's a lot of kelp on the Pipeline, but it was still an enjoyable dive. Joe is definitely bit by the cave bug. If he had a reel, he probably would've attempted to penetrate the end of the pipe.
Jeanna got some video footage of a big skate she, Eric, Chris and Joe stumbled upon.
We finished the evening meeting Steding and Finley at Duke's for a couple of beers.
