LAST DIVE @ THE OIL DOCK - TAKE 2

On September 7th, we decided to to see if we could dive the Edmonds Oil Dock one more time.  Last week's dive was so incredible, and we just weren't ready to say goodbye to it yet.

Lundy wanted to get out for a dive as well, so we decided to meet at the Oil Dock and see if we could get one last dive in.  As always, she didn't disappoint...

We descended into great vis, with a school of hundreds of baitfish waiting for us outside the pilings.  Inside the pilings we were met by the same enormous amount of tubesnouts, perch, rockfish, and ratfish.

Scott alternated between taking pictures and flying on the scooter, while Jeanna and Brian were on the trigger almost solid.  Vis was better than last weekend, and there seemed to be even more life, if that's possible.

This time we spent a little more time up in the water column, buzzing the large population of fish living up shallow.  It truly was one of the most beautiful settings we've seen underwater, flying with the mass schools of fish, seeing the glowing white pillars rising 20' above you and dropping 20' below you.

This was one of the best dives we've done in a long long time!  What a great way to remember this site!
